This morning we are having some 'home time'. So far, this is not going well. The Bear has poured the Husbands fizzy, red vitamin drink all over himself and the Boy has been a train, a car and is currently becoming a pirate. He's falling into character with a bounty of 'Aye aye Captains!' and 'Full speed ahead's', which, although cute, is very loud and said in a gravelly, piratey way. Worryingly, his crane toy is pulling the pirate ship across the vast ocean of the living room floor. Pirates, apparently, have found a new way of travelling. Less wind and all that.

Intrigued how old your Boy is, my eldest is nearly 3 and full of imagination too. His boat is a fruit box from tesco and is played with daily.

Hello! Thank you for commenting
The Boy will be 3 in June. Both the Bear, and Boy are playing with an empty celebrations tub at present...so much for the 'must have' flashy, singing toys piled in the corner! -

No probs, found your blog by mistake and have subscribed to the email alert as I enjoy your writing. I find the pound shops to be a wonderful place to get some toys, my boy is currently 'fixing' everything in sight with a plastic ax that came with a hard hat.
